The Regional Centre for Innovation and Technology Transfer at the Upper Silesian Agency for Enterprise Restructuring settled on the first edition of the competition for the most innovative Silesian enterprise “Silesian Innovator 2008". The competition was organised under the auspices of the Marshall of the Silesian Province and the Rector of the Silesian University of Technology. The Silesian Innovator competition has been created for businesses with proven success in developing their own technologies, innovative production, service, marketing or organisational solutions or in implementing new technologies.
The competition aims to promote innovative companies from the Silesian Province of Poland, support the development of companies by promoting new solutions, improve the image of the region and its entrepreneurs by promoting good examples, encourage the search for new technological solutions, introduce appropriate changes to the internal organisation of work or provide training in this field.
